Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Your first day of the 14 days tour will begin from Casablanca by visiting the biggest Mosque in Africa, Hassan II. It took 7 years to build it. It does not only take 25,000 worshippers inside the mosque hall but it can also take 80.000 on the mosque’s outside ground. Next, we will  pass by the city of Rabat visiting its highlights. Day 2 : Exploring Chefchaouen

After breakfast , you  will start to explore the city of Chefchaouen, the blue city. It is a small town in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen dated back to 1471. A little fact about Chefchaouen is that the name of the town comes from a Berber name : “Chef Chaouen” means “look at the horns”. Chefchaouen is a quaint place to hike and relax. So, you will have the opportunity to walk through the old medina of Chefchaouen to enjoy its alleyways with its blue washed walls.

In addition, you could visit Rass El Ma (The Head of The Water) literally it is the source of water that is used by the city in irrigation and laundry place where local women wash the clothes and blankets in public place. Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After Breakfast , we will leave Chefchaouen and head to the city of Fes crossing the Rif Mountains. On our way, we are going to visit the Romans’ruins  in Volubilis. Next, we continue to Meknes for having lunch and seeing its fascinating sites , then we end up the 3rd day of 14 days tour from Casablanca in Fes. Accommodation at a Riad or Hotel.

Day 4 : Exploring Fes

During this day, you will accompany a local guide , who will take you to discover the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. The city has two old Medinas , the largest of which is Fes El Bali . It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Fes El Jedid which was built by the Merinids. We will take you to see and visit 3 main exterior sites. First, the 1st extorior stop will be the beautifully decorated 7 gates of the royal palace. Second, we will see the medina of Fes from high panoramic view.Then, finishing our exterior visit by visiting the ceramic factories.

 The Medina has so many fascinating historical sites such as: Al-Qarawiyyin, which dates AD 859, is the oldest continuously functioning Madrasa (Old School) in the world. The Tannaries in which you can see the workshop of making leather and how it is tanning. You also have the chance to walk in the Souks (Old Markets) in the Old city of Fes.

Day 5 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt

After having your breakfast, we will drive through the Atlas mountains to see Ifrane city, which is the coldest place in Morocco. It has a nickname which is Switzerland of Morocco because of its design of the houses against the snow falling. Next, we will continue to see the Monkeys in the Cedar Forest of Azrou, those kinds of monkeys belongs to the Macaque Species. Later on, we will head towards Midelt which is considered as the capitale of apples. Accommodation at a hotel in Midelt

Day 6 : Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud

After breakfast, you will enjoy driving along the ziz gorges. You will no doubt also like the Ziz valley of palm groves which is located in a bank in Atlas Mountains then reaching the city of Erfoud where you will spend the night.

Day 7 : Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Berber Camp)

After breakfast, you will visit the traditional Souk (Market)of Rissani, where local people come for shopping 3 times a week. Next, heading to the village of Khamlia where you will experience and listen to the Gnawa Music and enjoying the Berber Pizza in the same village . Then, heading to the hotel to start your camel ride which lasts 1.5 hour. Accommodation will be at the Berber Camp , experiencing the life of nomads and enjoying berber music under plenty of stars if the weather helps.

Day 8 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Tinghir – Boumaln Dades

At early morning,you will ride camels back to the hotel enjoying the stunning sunrise . After your breakfast, you will be exploring of different fortresses and valleys of Palmeries and gorges .You will visit the Wells which were used as a system of irrigation in 17th century, and Todra Gorges, with mountains of 300 m (1000 feet), then pass by the city of Tinghir , and heading towards Boumalen Dades where you stay in a relaxing hotel after a long day

Day 10 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will drive to the famous Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. It is situated on a hill along the Ounila River. Aït Benhaddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced in the Kasbah including : The Gladiator ,Games of throne,The Message , The Mummy, Alexander and Babel.

After having lunch, we will continue to the extraordinary Kasbah of Telouet. It was the seat of the El Glaoui family’s power. The Kasbah of el Glaoui is a stunning kasbah with a beautiful mountainous backdrop. It was started by the Glaoui family, who had risen to power of Morocco south of the High Atlas in the late 1800s, and who worked with the French in the early 1900s. You can see from the roof the vast extent of the Kasbah, and the huge structures are still impressive, albeit crumbling, even today. Inside, visitors can wander through the large state rooms, with dusty pink plaster and painted cedar ceilings, and colourful zellij tilework. Afterwards, continuing to the city of Marrakech acrossing Tizi NTichka in the High Atlas Mountains .

Day 11 : Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast , you will be accompanied with the local guide to explor the city of Marrakech by visiting its most fascinating sites starting by the Tombs of Saadians, Palais Bahia, the Kotoubia Mosque. You could also visit Majorelle Garden which is in the new city. Ending the day in the square of Jamaa Lafna and the Souks.

Day 12 : Day Trip to Ourika and come Back to Marrakech

Leaving Marrakech at 08:00 to drive through the vast and breathtaking Moroccan landscape, peppered with a few scattered villages, some camels, sheep, and goats grazing in the countryside. Deep in the desert, the vegetation changes to Argan trees that only grow in the wild, and which provide berries for local goats to eat. If you wish, you can stop for an Argan oil tasting in a small co-operative run by local women. Discover how the Argan oil is extracted from the trees, and learn also about its uses in cooking and cosmetics.

Enter the charming blue and white town of Essaouira to explore its artistic wonders at leisure. Strolling along the quays and watch the fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and the brightly-painted fishing boats coming back to shore. Or enjoy the many fine restaurants at the port, and dine on freshly caught fish and seafood.

Explore the historic ramparts, and visit the Medina to see local artists selling their crafts of Thuya wood. The ramparts will give you an insight in to how this old seaport village was armed against the threat of invasion. Parquetry still remains a traditional specialty of Essaouira, and another beautiful attraction of the region is its tranquil beach. It is where you can laze away throughout the peaceful afternoon.
