Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes:
Today we start our 6 days private Morocco tour from Casablanca to Desert by driving to Fes,passing by Rabat and Meknes. We will visit most important places in Casablanca and Rabat , which is capital. Then we drive to Meknes and Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins. We head to Fes where we’ll stay overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad.
Day 2: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga:
After breakfast we’ll continue our private Morocco tour and we head towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We stop at Azrou, a Berber village near cedar forest, where we may well watch Barbarian apes. Then we’ll travel through Ziz valley passing few Berber villages to Erfoud. In Merzouga we stay for dinner and breakfast in local hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga desert Exploration:
Today we’ll start exploring the desert area visiting the Gnawa village of Khamlia, where we will learn more about the Gnawa music. Afterwards, may meet Nomad families still living under Berber tents in Sahara desert. Then we will visit Rissani, to explore its local souk and later we will drive back to the village of Merzouga. From here we ride camels about 90 minutes to arrive to the desert camp where we will spend this night in the sand dunes. We will enjoy the desert sunset and the dinner will be served at the camp.
Day 4: Merzouga desert – Todra gorges – Dades gorges:
Our private Morocco tour continues and we ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and shower we drive to Rissani, then Tinghir and Todra gorges. It is the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch here we’ll pass the Dades valley and the amazing rock formations known as monkey toes. You spend overnight in traditional riad with dinner and breakfast.
Day 5: Dades gorges – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech:
After breakfast our private Morocco tour continues to Skoura,then Ouarzazatte and passing through the spectacular High Atlas mountains. We may visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Kasbat Talouet and we pass Tizi n Tichka mountain pass to reach Marrakech.
Day 6: Marrakech guided tour:
After breakfast our local guide will take you to the medina (the ancient city). You will also explore the main Marrakech attractions and museums, Saadian Tombs, Kotubia mosque, Jamaa El Fna square and Majorelle Garden.Ending the tour in the square or in your riad and 6 Days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech via desert comes to an end.
