DAY 1: TANGER – TETOUAN – CHEFCHAOUEN
It is our pleasure to welcome you as to start a 10-day tour from Tangier to Sahara Desert. We will drive through the Rif Mountains and pass by Tetouan on our way to Chefchaouen. Depends on your arrival time, we will be able to discover Tetouan.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN AT LEISURE
You have a whole day to explore this beautiful blue town through walking in its alleyways. We recommand to take advantage to start the visit early, for taking pictures when it is not that crowded. For a good spot where you can see the sunset is to hike up to the Spanish mosque.Overnight in the Riad.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
After your breakfast, our journey will carry on to Volubilis. It is where you will discover the roman ruins of Volubilis and see its archeological sites. After the visit, we will drive through Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco where you will see its iconic Bab(door) Mansour. After Meknes,we drive to Fes for the overnight in the Riad.
DAY 4: FES CITY GUIDED TOUR
After breakfast, you will begin your journey to explore the sites of Fes Medina with a local guide. First, you start with the beautiful designed 7 doors of the royal then heading to the panoramic view of the medina the city. After the best view of the medina, you will visit the factories of hand made ceramics/pottery.
Back to the Medina where you will step into the maze of history. Visiting Al-Qarawiyyin mosque and University, the world’s existing old univeristy, founded i n 859.Right nearby there is Al-Attarine Medrassa which is a beautiful decorated Islamic school with intricate tilework. You will also visit Chouara tannary where the leather is still dyed using traditional methods and you can view that from one of the surrounding terraces. Overnight in Riad.
DAY 5: FES – IFRANE – CEDAR FOREST- MIDELT – ZIZ GORGES-ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will depart for the Sahara Desert, crossing the Middle Atlas. On our way to Merzouga, the first stop will be in Ifrane(means caves in Berber). This city has a nickname as Switzerland of Morocco beacuse of its alpine-style architecture and its clean mountain air. Then,continue our journey to driving through the cerdar forest where we can meet the Barbary macaque apes. Afterwards, it will be a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt. After Midelt that is known for apples, we will leave Middle Atlas behinde and start climbing the High Atlas Mountains. It is in this range where we will admire the views of the magnificent Ziz Gorges and palm groves.
Next, Passing through Erfoud that is known for its date fruits and fossil workshops. Whiling getting closer to Sahara Desert, you will enjoying how the Erg Chebbi sand dunes look like.They are one of Morocco’s most stunnning desert landscapes. Getting to Merzouga, it’s time to ride camels crossing the golden sand dunes to the Berber camp. And on the way, you will have a stop in the middle of the sand dunes to have pictures of a magnificent sunset. Your luggage will be taken to the camp by a jeep. After dinner, you gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night under a sky full of starts with traditional Berber drums.
DAY 6: DESERT EXPLORATION
Waking up early to catch the sunrise. After breakfast, you might feel like sandboarding before you take a 4×4 tour to explore the desert surraoundings: First, stopping by a Berber nomadic family to see how they live cultural exchange and share a coup of tea with them. Next, exploring an old mine where they used to extract cobalt mineral. After that, visiting Khamlia village where you can enjoy the local Gnawa music that is played by locals who came from sub-saharian countries in the past. Finishing the day by going to a lake to see some birds including flamingos.
DAY 7: ERG CHEBBI -RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast,you will explore the Rissani souk if it is market day(Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday). Then, passing through Erfoud which is known for fossil workshops and palm date fruits. Afterwards, heading to Tinghir where we will visit Todra Gorges dramatic limestone cliffs with a river running through. It is where you can explore and enjoy the view by walking.After that we will drive through Boumalen Dades driving anlong its valley and reaching Kalaat Mgouna. This town is known for its rose festival that take palce every first week of May in each year. Later on, continuing our journey driving through Skoura that is known for its kasbahs. Then arriving to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” due to its Atlas film Studios.

DAY 8: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU -HIGH ATLAS RANGE – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, you could visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the sets of Atlas studios if you wish. Then, Driving to the UNISCO-listed Kasbah/Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for films like Gladiator1& 2, games of thrones, lawrence of Arabia and others. Next, we will drive and climb into the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic windy road Tizi n’Tichka pass(2,260m). For the resert of the way to Marrakech, we will enjoy the frenquent panoramic views and take photo opportunities at scenic bends. Dropping you in your riad Marrakech late afternoon and you can visit Jema el-Fna, the Koutoubia mosque and Enjoying walking through the alleyways of the souks of the medina.

DAY 09: MARRAKECH-CASABLANCA – RABAT
After breakfast, we will drive to Casablanca where you can visit the Hassan2 mosque. It is the only mosque in Morocco that is open to non-Muslim tourists. Then, Driving to Rabat and visiting its highlights such as: Hassan tower, Mausoleum Mohammed 5, Kasbah of the Uddayas and Chella Necropolis

DAY 10: RABAT – TANGIER
Back to Tangier where we started the 10 days tour to Sahara Desert. Depends on your departure time, you will be able to drop off to Tangier port or airport.
