DAY 1: TANGER – TETOUAN – CHEFCHAOUEN
Nice to meet you to start 10 days tour from Tangier to Sahara desert. We will drive to Chefchaouen via Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Depends on your arrival time, we will be able to discover Tetouan.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN AT LEISURE
You have the full day to explore this beautiful blue town through walking in its alleyways and we recommand to take advantage to start the visit for taking pictures when it is not that crowded. Overnight in the Riad.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
After your breakfast, our authentic journey you will start towards Volubilis crossing via Wazan and other Rif villages. you will discover the roman ruins of Volubilis and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history. After the visit, you will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 thcentry heritage where you will stop for lunch. Then you will hang around the historical huge walls of the medina. After Meknes, you will drive directly to Fes for the overnight in the Riad.
DAY 4: FES CITY GUIDED TOUR
After breakfast, you will have a guided visit at 9:00 Am in the medina of Fes. To begin with the southern tower and the fortress of 16th century face to face with northern one, a panoramic view over the medieval city. you will visit an enjoyable cooperative of pottery.
You will travel in time back to the medieval period of the city where people still work in small narrow streets, several tiny stalls of all kinds of traditional crafts, and donkeys loaded with supplies are going up and down in the streets of the medina. Overnight in Riad.
DAY 5: FES – IFRANE – CEDAR FOREST- MIDELT – ZIZ GORGES – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, you will drive southwards to Ifrane and Azrou by the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, you will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. you will travel along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock. After lunch, you will continue our journey through the Ziz valley Erfoud and Merzouga(SAHARA DESERT) . you will leave our luggage in a room then take the camels to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. After dinner, you gather round the fire and enjoy the desert night perhaps with traditional Berber drums. Dinner and Bivouac in dunes.
DAY 6: DESERT EXPLORATION
The camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. After having your breakfast, shower in the camp, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel appreciating the unique beauty ofthe spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes.Restful dayin the middle of the desert activities in the choice: walk, rest at the edge of the swimming pool, trails round with back of camel, safari 4×4 in dunes, quad (in supplement). DAY 7: ERG CHEBBI – TODRA GORGES – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast,you will leave towards Erfoud to visit the factory of marble fossilized before continuing towards the famous gorges of Todra (the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco) and its luxurious palm grove. After the lunch, you will continue towards the valley of Dades. You will arrive to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, after crossing Skoura Palm. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 8: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, you’ll drive to the famous Ait Ben Haddoukasbah, the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. Walking tour with your guide takes 1 hour to see and visit the beautiful Berber Village. Then, you will continue to Marrakech by the road of Tichka to cross beautiful Atlas landscape.
DAY 09: MARRAKECH – RABAT
After a breakfast, you will drive to Casablanca you will be able to visit the Hassan mosque before drive to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. you will learn Rabat’s history and enjoy its beautiful domes, minarets, wide avenues and green spaces .
DAY 10: RABAT – TANGIER
Back to Tangier where we started the 10 days tour to Sahara Desert. Depends on your departure time, you will be able to drop off to Tangier port or airport.
